Reformer

Build strength. Find control. Move with confidence.

Our Reformer classes combine the precision of Pilates with the resistance and support of the reformer. You’ll work your whole body, building strength, mobility, coordination and control while developing a better understanding of how you move.

With just six people in each class, there’s plenty of individual attention, while still having the energy and connection of a group.

What to Expect

A full-body workout
Expect a varied class that works your whole body with movement that challenges both strength and coordination.

Strength with precision
The reformer provides resistance to work against and support to work with. This allows you to build strength while staying focused on alignment, control and quality of movement.

Options for your body
There’s no single “right” way to do an exercise. Your teacher will offer options throughout class so you can find the level of challenge that’s appropriate for you that day.

Small group, personal attention
With a maximum of six students, your teacher can see you, offer guidance and help you get more from your practice.

Why Mo.Co.?

At Mo.Co., Pilates isn’t just about getting through a sequence of exercises. We want you to understand what you’re doing, why you’re doing it and how it relates to the way you move outside the studio.

Our teachers bring deep knowledge of movement, anatomy and the Pilates method to every class. You’ll be encouraged to work hard, but never at the expense of good movement.

The goal isn’t to make every movement look perfect. It’s to help you become stronger, more capable and more confident in your own body.

Find your level.

Foundations
New to Reformer or returning to the basics? Foundations gives you more time to learn the equipment, movement vocabulary and key principles of Pilates.

Our Reviews

Frequently
Asked
Questions

I’m new to Reformer Pilates. Where should I start?

Start with a Foundations class. It’s designed to give you time to become familiar with the reformer and build confidence with the fundamentals.

Can I join if I have an injury?

It depends on your injury and what you’re hoping to do. Please let your teacher know before class so they can help you understand what modifications may be appropriate. If you need more individual attention, a Solo session may be a better place to start.

Do I need to have done Pilates before?

No. Foundations Reformer is suitable for beginners, including those completely new to Pilates.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. You can work barefoot or in grippy socks.

How often should I do Reformer?

There’s no magic number. Consistency matters more than frequency, so choose a rhythm that works for you. Many students find that combining Reformer with our other classes gives them a more varied movement practice.
