Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions are between you ‘The student’, and ‘Movement Collective, Mo.Co.’
Statutory Rights
The rights of cancellation and refund and any limitation expressed in these terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Classes
- You must be 18 or over to attend classes at Mo.Co.
- Classes are subject to availability.
- You will not be admitted to class if you are late. You must be inside the studio at the start time of the class as the teacher may need to lock the door for the duration of the class. This is to ensure the safety of both teachers and members. You will not receive a refund if you are late to class and not admitted.
- You must not attend classes or sessions if you are unwell. If you are injured, you must have clearance from your doctor to return to exercise. Please inform us if you have or are recovering from an injury.
Refunds
Refunds in relation to products or services may only be credited to the credit or debit card originally used to make the purchase.
Solo Sessions (Pilates, functional personal training, stretch therapy & massage)
Upon making a booking, you will receive an email confirming all the important details, along with an email reminder 24hrs prior to your appointment. Please check that all information (studio, appointment time, appointment type) are correct.
If it is your first appointment, you therapist or teacher will do an intake with you to learn about your history and goals. Your sessions will be tailored to your needs and notes are stored securely. Only team members can access notes and cannot download personal information about you.
Solo Session/Treatment Cancellations
- Movement Collective Limited have a 24h cancellation policy whereby any booked sessions must be canceled at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. In any other case, the session will be charged by the appropriate number of credits being deducted from your account.
- Failure to attend an appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice of cancellation will incur the charge for the full appointment.
- If you need to cancel your appointment at short notice because of family emergencies, Covid-19 related symptoms, a long-term medical condition which varies from day to day, or pregnancy related issues, then we shall discuss the cost implications on a case-by-case basis.
- Late Arrivals: Please arrive a few minutes prior to the start of your appointment time. If you need to arrive later or leave earlier, it is your discretion to do so, but time will not be made up by overrunning or adding time to subsequent appointments.
- If you arrive with less than 50% of your session time remaining, you forfeit your appointment. In this case, your therapist may email you with some useful resources for home practice to keep you moving until your next appointment.
- If you are 10 minutes late, we will call, text or email you. We will call again at 20 minutes.
- If you do not attend your appointment and do not communicate with us we will consider this a ‘no-show’.
Class Cancellations
- Movement Collective Limited have a 12h cancellation policy whereby any booked sessions must be canceled at least 12 hours before the scheduled start time. In any other case, the class will be charged by the appropriate number of credits being deducted from your account.
- Failure to attend a class with less than 12 hours’ notice of cancellation will incur the charge.

- Late Arrivals are not allowed. Please arrive a few minutes prior to the start of your class time.
- If you do not attend your class and do not communicate with us we will consider this a ‘no-show’.
Payments
- All classes, solo sessions and treatments must be prepaid.
- Purchase of all sessions/classes/workshops/treatments are via our credit system. Please note the expiration date. Different products and services have different expiration dates. They will be clearly displayed on the product at the time of purchase, on your receipt and can be confirmed in your account. Expiration dates are non-negotiable.
Confidentiality
All client information and clinical records will be safeguarded by Movement Collective Limited and will remain confidential. Unless required to do so by law, we will not otherwise share, sell or distribute any of the information you provide to us without your consent.
Consultations and client treatment details will not be discussed with anyone other than the client, unless the client is under the age of 18 or has a care worker or guardian.
In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we employ security measures to protect your information from access by unauthorised persons and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage. We have also put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. We will retain your information for a reasonable period or as long as the law requires.
Each teacher/practitioner working for Movement Collective Limited will have access to these records only for the duration of their contract with Movement Collective Limited, and solely for the purpose of providing you with the most appropriate treatment.
Memberships
Memberships are an initial commitment of 3 months, and then month to month.
You are able to pause your membership following the first 3 month commitment period, for £20/month.
You have a 14 day right to cancel your membership, starting from the day you purchase. If the membership is canceled within the first 14 days you will be charged the full price for any classes that have attended within this time. The single class rate is £35/class.
If you miss a scheduled autopay, we require that you make payment within 14 days of the missed payment. If payment is not received within this time, our account team will get in touch with you via email to arrange payment, and a surcharge of £20 will be applied. If payment is not made after an additional 4 weeks (28 days), we reserve the right to pass the debt along to a debt collection agency. Any accumulated arrears will then be subject to payment plus any charges that the collection agency may apply. During this period, the contract is not terminated and so will continue to accumulate unless contact is made with hello@themoco.uk to cancel said contract.
Packages
- Each package has an expiration date.
- Expiry dates cannot be extended.
- Packages are non-refundable
Health & Safety
All practitioners at Movement Collective Limited are qualified and hold professional and public indemnity insurance, for the services that they provide.
Due to the nature of hands-on therapies, and the need for close contact, all Movement Collective Limited practitioners will maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and clients are asked to ensure that they also maintain a high standard of personal hygiene.
If a practitioner is unwell, suffering from a cold or virus, infection or general ill health, they will not be allowed to work due to the risks of cross contamination. This may result in Movement Collective Limited contacting you to inform you of the issue at the earliest opportunity to make suitable alternative arrangements.
Clients are asked not to attend an appointment if they are unwell, suffering from a cold or virus, infection or general ill-health. Please contact the studio you are booked in at the earliest opportunity to rearrange your appointment. If you are unwell and contact us to inform us of your illness and choose to cancel without rescheduling, charges may still apply.
Movement Collective Limited, including the practitioners, will not be held responsible for the loss or damage of personal items during your time at Movement Collective Limited premises.
Movement Collective Limited holds the right to refuse any treatment if a client is physically or verbally abusive towards any practitioner, or demonstrates inappropriate, aggressive or sexual behaviour. Such behaviour may result in a partial or total ban from Movement Collective Limited and may also result in criminal proceedings.
Disclaimer
The client has a duty to provide accurate and true medical and personal information, to the best of their knowledge, and to keep Movement Collective Limited up to date with details of any medication, symptoms, medical concerns or treatments for which they are undergoing treatment.
All practitioners at Movement Collective Limited may refuse to treat any client or part of their body with just and reasonable cause. Movement Collective Limited reserves the right to terminate any appointment at any time if they believe that it is not safe or in the client’s best interest to continue. Likewise, the client has the right to refuse, modify or terminate treatment at any time, regardless of prior consent given.
