Momentum 2026

A workshop series exploring awareness, reflection, and the practises that create lasting change.

A different way to start 2026:

Awareness is about leaving your head behind and settling into your body, quieting the mental chatter, using breath and movement to sense what is, before deciding what should come next. Sounds simple, but it takes real skill. It’s where meaningful change begins.

From there, we move into reflection. Once you’re grounded and the big energy of the season has settled, you can look more clearly. What’s working that you want to keep? What isn’t? What really matters to you right now?

Then comes practise. With goals clarified, we explore the path forward, building habits and simple structures that support the behaviours you need to achieve your goals. Not perfection. Not overhauls. Just small, repeatable actions that fit your real life.

The cycle repeats. Each time around, your connection to yourself deepens. Your purpose becomes clearer. Your goals feel more focused and more achievable.

Schedule of events

It’s the New Year… So what is a resolution, really? And why don’t they stick?

A resolution is a statement of desire. It’s the what.

“I want more free time.”
“I want to be fit.”
“I want to save more money.”
“I want to feel less stressed.”

There’s nothing wrong with wanting these things. Naming desire matters. But where we often go wrong is treating the resolution as the work itself.

Wanting something is rarely enough to override habits, environment, stress, fatigue, or the realities of daily life. If your resolutions is the destination, then habits and behaviours are the road that gets you there.

Instead of starting with what do you want to change, you first need to be with what is.

Awareness is a stepping stone to presence (or a state of meditation). It allows us to slow down, breathe consciously, and notice patterns. We build what we like to call “body literacy”: the ability to read our own physiological signals. This is the space where we look at what ‘is‘. This is the space for developing acceptance, self-love and patience.

From Awareness to Reflection. This is where your gut gets a say. From the light and easy place that awareness brings us, find your purpose – your ‘why’. Align your goals (or resolutions) with what actually matters to you.

The Practise: Make the work, work!

Habits form when:

  • Tasks are small
  • Behaviours are repeated
  • Based on realistic context
  • Prompted by cues, structure, and reward

This is why so many New Year’s resolutions don’t survive contact with real life. They’re often too broad, disconnected from daily routines, dependent on willpower, and unsupported by structure. The intention is there. The system is not.

The Momentum 2026 workshop series is our structure to change that.

We’re inviting you to spend some quality time with yourself (and us!), moving through awareness, reflection, and practise. As always, we’ll keep it grounded in science and free of judgement. Show up for yourself this year and let’s build some momentum!

Schedule of Events:

Friday Jan 16th, 17:30 – 18:45. AWARENESS: “First, We Notice” with Amy Laithwaite.

Guided movement, breath, and meditation to bring awareness. This session is free from theory and talking — here, the body and breath lead. We begin with 45 minutes of continuous movement: shaking, swinging, sweating — all the human moves that help us leave our heads and inhabit our bodies. After a short pause, we settle into constructive rest positions tailored to you (seated or reclined options offered), before moving into guided breathing and meditation.

Saturday Jan 24th, 14:00 – 16:00. REFLECTION: “Listening In” with Sarah Weatherby and Ashley Park.

Gentle movement, breathwork, and sound to guide the mind towards stillness. A matcha tea ceremony as a practice in presence. Guided journaling to uncover your ‘why’, helping you orient towards goals that feel meaningful, sustainable, and yours.

Friday Jan 30th, 17:30 – 18:45. PRACTISE: “From Intention to Action” with Charlotte Telfer-Wan.

Master the art of the SMART goal. Pick goals that really matter to you, map out a practical plan, and sidestep the common pitfalls that derail progress. With movement and breath to keep you present, this session blends self-love with real-world action – small, thoughtful steps that actually stick.

Saturday Feb 7th, 14:00 – 16:00. PRACTISE: “Breath as Foundation” with Sarah Weatherby.

The biomechanics of breathing. Cultivate breath awareness to recognise patterns like breath-holding, chest-breathing, or over-breathing. Practice drills for posture and breathing efficiency. Sound healing and guided journaling help connect your ‘why’ to your goals for 2026. Leave empowered with practical tools you can carry forward.

Saturday Feb 21st, 14:00 – 15:15. PRACTISE: “Building Momentum” with Charlotte Telfer-Wan and Amy Laithwaite.

Learn strategies for forming (and breaking) habits. Movement breaks throughout the session keep you grounded in body and breath as you clarify and structure your plan of action for 2026. This workshop carries forward concepts from “from intention to action” (Jan 30th). If you missed it, we’ll provide the handouts ahead of time so you can catch up on the concepts covered so far.

Saturday Feb 28th, 14:00 – 16:00. AWARENESS: “Return” with Sarah Weatherby.

We close our Momentum 2026 series with ritual and rest: breathwork, and sound journey. Exploring the psycho-physiology of breathing, and the role of interoception and presence in emotional regulation and resilience. Conscious connected breathwork to support emotional release. The cycle begins again with awareness. Every breath — a return to the power of small things, done often.
