Back by popular demand, we’re welcoming Alex for a second look at handstands.

Whether you’re an experienced mover or an absolute beginner, this 90-minute session led by expert Alex Nino, will help you build balance, strength, and confidence in a supportive, lighthearted space.

For our Mo.Co. regulars, this is a great opportunity to take your Pilates skills and challenge them in new ways.

This workshop is open to all levels—move at your own pace, challenge your limits, and discover what you’re capable of.

Meet Alex Nino

Born in Colombia, Alex’s love of movement started in the great outdoors. Now with over a decade of coaching experience in the UK and beyond, he works with movers of all levels to build strength, confidence, and skill in their bodies.

Alex’s own journey has been shaped by world-class teachers across multiple disciplines, including Ido Portal, Coach Sommer, and Miguel Santana. Rather than favouring one method over another, he believes in core movement principles that help everyone move with more ease and efficiency.

His coaching style is simple yet highly effective—focusing on quality over quantity, and instilling self-belief in his clients. His goal? To help people improve body awareness, flexibility, and strength, so they can move with greater freedom and resilience for years to come.

What to Expect:

Full-Body Prep – Warm-up drills to prime your body for safe, controlled handstands.
Walls & Props for Support – Learn how to go upside down with stability while developing strength.
Handstand Variations – Explore different shapes and progressions, including tools for a press to handstand.
Injury Prevention Tips – Keep your shoulders, hips, and spine happy with expert alignment cues.
A Fun, Supportive Atmosphere – Connect with like-minded movers (you might even meet a handstand buddy!).
