How does the credit system work?
It’s a brave new model that we’ve chosen for Mo.Co. to encourage you to try new things!
Here’s what you need to know:
- Each class or session is worth a specific number of credits.
- If you purchase a package of 10 credits at the discounted rate (well done you!) you could try:
- 10 studio classes (1 credit each)
- 5 equipment reformer classes (2 credits each)
- 1 60 minute massage (6 credits) + 1 equipment reformer class (2 credits) + 2 studio classes (1 credit each)
- now your turn…
- To attend just one class or session we’ve created items to buy that will give you exactly the number of credits you need:
- A 60 minute massage is 6 credits – the package you need is labeled as such.
- A studio class is 1 credit – the package you need is labeled ‘single studio class (pilates)’.
- If you’ve only got 3 credits in your account and you want to book something that’s worth more simply purchase a new discounted package and we’ll add the 3 credits to it for you (as long as they’re still valid).

What should I wear?
Comfortable, form fitting clothing that you feel good moving in. Watch out for zippers and buttons as they can be uncomfortable to lay on during different positions. They can also damage our equipment, so please take care.
How far in advance can I book?
Group classes open for bookings 2 weeks in advance.
Private sessions can be booked up to 30 days in advance.
Do I need to wear socks?
You can practice with socks or barefoot. If you are in equipment class, sticky socks or bare feet are required.
Are equipment and mats cleaned?
Every piece of equipment and mats are cleaned after use. For 1:1 sessions, your teacher will do it for you. For classes, we ask that you clean your own equipment.
What is the cancelation policy?
The cancelation policy is 24 hours before the start of your sessions. For more detail please see the terms and conditions.
How long are classes?
Classes are 50 minutes long.
How long are 1:1 sessions?
Choose from 60, 75 or 90 minute sessions in Pilates, Stretch Therapy or Massage.
Typically people choose longer treatments (stretch or massage therapy) and the hour long Pilates class. However, our skilled teachers are never short on ideas to share with you – so book longer if you want more time to explore. Similarly, if you’ve only got an hour to spare and need to decompress, a one hour stretch works magic!
How often should I do classes?
Classes can be done everyday, as each class will have a slightly different focus and energy depending on the needs of the class and the teacher.
2-3 classes a week is a great starting point as you’ll get lots of skill under your belt quickly. However, if you’d only got time to see us 1/week, you’ll still see progress – it just takes a little longer and requires a bit of practice at home.
I have an injury, can I join class?
Yes you can, as long as you have clearance from your doctor to exercise. Please let your teacher know before the start of class if you have or are recovering from an injury.
How early can I book in?
You can book in 14 days before a class and 28 days before a 1:1 session.
Can I drop-in and pay when I arrive?
We require classes to be booked and paid for prior to the start of class. This can be done online up to 30 minutes before the start of class. You can also come to the studio and pay in person; we kindly ask you arrive in plenty of time prior to your class. Please note we cannot guarantee your place in class until you are booked and paid.
Do I need experience to join class?
You do not need any experience to join (including equipment classes on the reformer, chair or barrel). Our method allows for less experienced students to take their time and more experience students to use ‘progressions’ to make the class more challenging.
Our ultimate goal is to help you get to know your body better. By being in a mixed level class, you’re having to make small (but important) choices about which progressions you try. Your teacher will quickly adjust you if you push too far, but having the autonomy and responsibility to increase and decrease the difficulty level for yourself is an important skill for you to take into other sport, or regular life.
If I have never taken a reformer class before can I join?
Our teachers are skilled in giving progressions during class so beginners can get started and advanced students can move on to more challenging techniques. In you first class the teacher will explain what you need to know about the equipment before the start of class. They’ll support you all the way through class helping with the machine if necessary.
If you would like more information and support before jumping into an equipment class, we suggest booking into a 1:1 session first.
